Leftists took to twitter to voice their outrage at Under Armour for there position on Trump. So in response the Under Armour CEO pandered to the left and released a statement condemning Trump’s policy’s.
First he expressed enthusiasm for Trump in an interview with CNBC, calling him, “a real asset for the country.” He even penned a letter explaining how Trump’s business background could be a positive for the country.
Plank was one of 28 business leaders named to President Trump’s manufacturing jobs initiative, a component of his overall jobs agenda.
However Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank’s comments drew rebukes from some of the company’s key celebrity endorsers, including NBA star Steph Curry and WWE legend Dwayne The Rock Johnson.
This pushback continued last week, after a #BoycottUnderArmour hashtag began circulating on social media. Eventually the Liberals broke down Under Armour to the point where they were forced to release a statement clarifying that it supports unity. “We engage in policy, not politics,” the company said.
Plank wrote in The Baltimore Sun, “We are always mindful of the responsibility that we have to those who choose our brand, especially the young people who represent the bold and bright future of a diverse and inclusive America…” Plank said. “In a time of division, we aspire to be a force of unity, growth and optimism for our city and our country.”
This was not a full indictment of Trump as he did not mention him by name. However his rhetoric in this letter will please the perpetually offended progressive snowflakes who expressed such outrage with the CEO’s previous comments.
